The Background
Torque Release Technique
"TRT" is the most up-to-date chiropractic technique available. It has been designed as part of scientific research into the health benefits of chiropractic. As such it is a mixture of the "best-of-the-best" systems of chiropractic assessment & treatment.
Tuning Your Nervous System
TRT focuses a lot of attention to the strategic and vital connection points between the spinal cord and spinal column. As we gently and methodically adjust these areas of your spinal cord, we are changing the degree of tension in the central nervous system in an effort to change the "notes" that result. That is, a better level of tension.
The Adjusting Tool
The Integrator™ is the only chiropractic adjusting instrument that was developed out of randomized clinical trial, blinded and with placebo control. The study was designed by Robert Duncan, Ph. D., biostatistician, at the University of Miami School of Medicine, together with the Holder Research Institute and founded in part by a grant from the Florida Chiropractic Society. Years of development, testing and design went into creating an instrument that would deliver that 3rd dimensional dynamic that adjusting by hand embraced but that no other instrument in chiropractic delivered; "TORQUE" and "RECOIL". THE INTEGRATOR reproduces the entire thrust and movement components of TOGGLE RECOIL, the classic Chiropractic Method of adjusting by hand at a speed of 1/10,000th of a second. No instrument in chiropractic history has been able to reproduce what the hands were intended to do! Many other features are built into the Integrator however the precocking/tip sensitive automatic release mechanism makes the Integrator the first and only chiropractic adjusting instrument capable of totally true inter-professional reproducibility. This instrument, also known as the Torque Adjustor™ is unlike other hand held instruments. The Integrator has true force adjustment as well as choice of three tip sizes, shapes and density characteristics to allow for the chiropractor the greatest outcome in correcting almost any subluxation that can present itself. The Integrator™ is a legally marketed medical device for the adjustment of the Vertebral Subluxation; only available to licensed Doctors of Chiropractic.

DR. LANDON
Chiropractor/Co-Owner
Dr. Landon was originally drawn to Chiropractic during his low back pain studies through his graduate work at Central Michigan University. Once completing his coursework he decided to pursue chiropractic to better help and understand the root of the problem. What he found at Sherman College of Chiropractic was much more than just a cause to low back pain or just a modality to speed up recovery. He found a new understanding of health and healing. He learned how to assess and protect our precious nervous system which is the highway to and from the master control center (our brain).
Dr. Landon received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Chiropractic in December 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Health Fitness in preventative and Rehabilitative Services from Central Michigan University and also completed his Masters work in Exercise Science at CMU. Dr. Landon is Advanced Certified in Torque Release Technique.
KARMYN
Co-Owner
Karmyn is the wife of Dr. Landon. Their journey started in middle school and the rest is history. After high school he went off to Delta College and onto Central Michigan University while she stayed at Delta College and earned her degree in Child Development. After graduation they together decided to move to Spartanburg, South Carolina to begin another journey, chiropractic school.
It was there she knew that chiropractic school was meant not only for Dr. Landon but for her too. He could pursue his dream of becoming a chiropractor but she could pursue her dream of working with children. Throughout the journey she not only learned what neurological chiropractic was and how valuable it was for all ages, including children and pregnancy but most importantly she saw the benefits. During that time, there was no doubt they wanted to specialize in pediatrics and pregnancy at their practice.
As someone who struggled with infertility, Karmyn was very excited when she heard that neurological based chiropractic was found to help. She immediately began care and quickly became pregnant to their beautiful daughter Viviana and later their handsome son Lawson. She continued with care throughout her pregnancy and is forever grateful for the amazing experience she had not only with her pregnancy but labor too.
She has not only saw how chiropractic has impacted her immediate family but also her extended family, friends and those in the community. She is beyond excited for not only her family but for their team here at Explore Chiropractic to be able to serve, you the people, of our local community and help you discover your true path to wellness.
She looks forward to meeting each and every one of you of all generations.
DR. BO
Lead Chiropractor
Dr. Bo grew up locally in Beal City, Michigan. While in high school he sustained a low back injury playing football. This injury lead him to a chiropractor that assisted him in making a speedy recovery through specific chiropractic adjustments. After that experience he decided to dedicate his life to helping others the same way by locating, analyzing, and correcting vertebral subluxations.
Dr. Bo received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2019. He is certified in the Webster technique and Advanced Certified in Torque Release Technique.
KALI
Office Manager
Kali joined the team in April of 2019. Her passion for chiropractic is contagious to those around her. She loves spreading her knowledge and being a friend to practice members.
Kali has two sons, both of which love to be adjusted in our office. She hopes they go to school to become chiropractors and help our community.
EMILY
Billing and Operations Manager
Emily joined the team June of 2022 and is excited to help others through their chiropractic journey.
Emily has been married for two years to her husband Aaron. She graduated from Central Michigan University in December of 2019 with a BSBA degree in Human Resource Management. She always has had a passion for helping people, and now joining Explore she has the ability to watch practice members regain their strength.
BRIYANNA
Media Event Specialist
Briyanna grew up in Clare, MI. She has been with our team since June of 2022. She is pursuing a BBA in Marketing and Graphic Design. Outside of work and school, Briyanna spends time volunteering with her church and hanging out with her dog.
She loves making connections with practice members and hearing their chiropractic journeys. She is excited to work in an office that serves quality chiropractic care and believes in achieving health naturally.
Linda
Chiropractic Education Specialist
Linda, joined the office in June 2022. She has been married to her husband, Terry for 42 years and has 3 daughters: Jilianne, Brianne, Karmyn and 12 grandchildren.
She retired from Standish-Sterling schools after 32 years of secretarial services. While she loved her job there, it was time for her to share her knowledge of something she truly believes in—Chiropractic Care.
ERIKA
Team Nutrition Specialist/Personal Assistant
Erika has been with the team since June of 2017.
She has two dogs whom she loves very much. Erika plans all team trips and provides snacks. Recently, Erika graduated from Northwood University with a degree in Business Administration.

Greeter
Sam, the office Bernedoodle brings joy to everyone he meets. He joined the team in December of 2022, at just 6 months old! He answers to many names such as the following: Fido, Buddy, Dog, G-Mo, and Pal. He simply can't wait to meet you and hopes you give him a treat.
